Light, calm, generous. A 62-inch dresser in limed, wire-brushed oak with six framed drawers and polished nickel rings.

The oak is wire-brushed to open the grain, then washed pale, so the pores settle into fine chalky lines and every drawer front shows its own figure. It is real oak veneer over a frame of poplar, laminated veneer lumber and MDF, which keeps a wide case flat and stable while the wood stays on show.

Each drawer front carries its own stepped, mitred frame, so the front has depth without carving, and two polished nickel rings add a small shine against the matte wood. The drawers run on metal ball-bearing glides, with room inside for folded sweaters, jeans and bed linen. Style it with washed linen and pale floors for a coastal calm, or set it against a deep plaster wall for contrast.
