Zagarise Hidden-Caster Skirted Upholstered Dining Chair

Built for the host. A tailored, skirted dining armchair with a deep removable cushion and four hidden casters that let it roll back from the table.

Zagarise is a proper armchair for the dining room: deep, soft and tailored. Comfort starts with a 5.5-inch seat cushion of high-density foam topped with a softer fibre layer, and it lifts out. The back is tall and tight, the arms slope down to square, piped fronts, and four casters hidden under the skirt let it glide back from the table without dragging, so getting up to clear the plates is easy.

Underneath is a solid wood and plywood frame on solid wood legs, with a stated weight capacity of 300 pounds; the legs attach at home, tools included. The heathered weave of charcoal, grey and oatmeal threads gives a soft, matte fleck that never looks flat. Use a pair as host chairs at each end of the table, or one at a desk; it suits oak beams and stone for a country look, or white walls and black metal for something more modern.
