On the back, twisted natural fiber rope is laid in four triangles that meet at one point, with a single dark strand running down from the centre, so a row along the table repeats like a quiet motif. At 17.7 inches wide, you can fit more chairs along each side.
The rope is packed tight, in warm honey and caramel with darker strands for depth, and as a natural fiber its tone and twist vary a little from chair to chair. A crisp woven seat box with a twisted rope trim sits on four straight square legs in dark espresso, with no stretchers, for a sharp, graphic base. Pair it with a walnut table and black steel for a modern loft, or with pale oak and stone for a warm, natural room.
